GSOF Symposium Europe will not take place in 2020

As a consequence of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, GSOF Symposium Europe, organised by Clarion Events on behalf of the Global SOF Foundation, scheduled for October, will no longer take place in 2020.

This is a result of the continuing prohibitions and advisories against international travel put into effect by governments around the world and Poland’s introduction of COVID-19 regulations and public health directives. The next edition of GSOF Symposium Europe will be staged 26-28 October 2021 at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel, Poland.

Stuart Bradin, CEO and President of Global SOF Foundation said “Based on health and safety considerations, on-going limitations on large gatherings, and extensive travel restrictions, it is not possible for us to conduct the Symposium as we originally envisioned. We simply cannot convene the international special operations community in a meaningful way in the current environment. We are terribly disappointed, but the health and safety of our attendees, speakers, and partners must take priority.”
